Microlimit
has its roots in manufacturing and is now in its 51st
year of sub-contract and product manufacture.
Microlimit
specialises in short batch production, 1 offs and repairs [we like a
challenge and get bored with long runs]. Our capacity ranges from tool making
to fabrication coupled with an extensive network of supporting
trades such as grinding, slotting and gear cutting, to name a few,
plus all forms of surface finishing. Microlimit provides excellent
facilities alongside outstanding service and a real commitment to
the quality you demand.
During
its 50 year history the company has been providing a service and
manufacturing capacity for a wide variety of industrial and
commercial clients.
The
demands on us have varied from an aircraft caterer requiring us to
design and supply a rotating pneumatic hoist with a SWL of 350Kg to
an engineer desperate for a 1 off M24 fine pitch high tensile bolt
– delivered in under 3 hours.
In
its early days a long relationship with a local surgeon saw the
business manufacturing surgical equipment including hip joint
reamers, replacement knee joints and fracture repair kits.
Our
tooling and power presses have produced scaffold joints for the
building industry - shelf clips and brackets, slotted posts and
shelving for the retail display industry - cabinet and grab handles
for every industry.
